📚Books Read: 11
Yes, I did start Sept by finishing up a Christmas romance lol. But overall, I read a lot of great spooky books. I also dod a third re-read of Wade in the Water by Tracy K. Smith for poetry sluts book club.
One exciting thing. We got two new bookshelves (after one broke last year and we just had a massive pile of books on the floor) and in moving books to these new shelves, we unhualed about 40! I plan on posting about our bookshelves this Shelfie Sunday!
🎥 Movies Watched: 5
After impatiently waiting for Together and Bring Her Back, to be available for streaming, I finally watched them. Both were thrilling watches. My favorite movie this month were Shiva Baby (so delightfully cringe) and The American Southwest (Nature and Water Documentary). Oh and I used my library card to get the Hallmark binge pass so that I could watch Adventures in Love & Birding (movie adaptation of Birding with Benefits by Sarah T. Dubbs). Unsurprisingly, the book was better but it was still cute AF.
📺 TV Episodes: A shockingly high amount
Finished a rewatch of The Vampire Diaries and immediately started The Originals which I never finished so I’m excited to see how this one ends. I am free from Vinny the lip after watching the finale of Big Brother! I hope to never see that man on my screen again. Congrats Ashley on winning overall and Keanu for winning America’s Favorite Houseguest. My husband and I are still going through our comfort show and recently I saw a baby Sabrina Carpenter and Pedro Pascal. My imdb is always HOT while watching this show lol.
Music: So many great albums came out at the end of August and in September. I was fed!! On the graphic, I’m mainly showing new to me albums last month and my receiptify shows that Jade, Reneé Rapp, and Golden by Kpop Demon hunters dominated lol.
Pics: Lots of matcha. I’ve really decreased by alcohol consumption and only had rosé at the beginning of the month. I did have an amazing mocktail from Sonoran House! Majority of these pics are from a trip my husband and I took to Bisbee this past weekend.
I’m so stoked for October!
