Although I only joined the bookish world of Instagram and Twitter recently, I have already been welcomed with open arms and open books and I have found so many great challenges and motivations to read!

The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins at 12:01 am Monday, May 10th, and runs through Sunday, May 16th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are reading sprints, Twitter chats, and exclusive Instagram challenges, but they’re all completely optional. According to their FAQ, their daily 30 minutes of reading-in-place times are scheduled for 10 am EST, but since I’ll be at work I’m bumping my time up to 8 am EST to get 30 minutes of reading in before work! For me personally, scheduling the time will help me hold myself accountable, but you can read any time that works for you especially depending on your time zone!
There is also an Instagram challenge that I will be participating in!
